POSTER ABOUT 1 MALAYSIA!

[ FESTIVAL POSTER ]

This is myposter and it is about Festival in Malaysia which it is celebrated by different race. Malaysia is one big world that have many people with different race. There are Malay, Chinese and Indian. People in Malaysia are very nice and also a humanism person and that is the reason why i put ' UNITED in the poster. Means all race are united each other for country to be excellent in the future.

There are many Step doing this poster :

• STEP 1 = Background.

The background is actually I made up by using Adobe Illustrator then I copy, paste into the Adobe Photoshop after I setup the paper, International paper, size A4.

Select the Gradient Tool. Then the properties of the gradient will be appear. There will be three gradient slide, so i added another two and the color will be yellow, orange, red, violet and blue. Drag and play the opacity that i want until i satisfied with the color of my background and yet, the result is shown like above.

Use Adobe Photoshop to create some effect on the top of the background. I use Filter Gallery, i give some texture to it, I selected the Patchwork then it will become like a small square on the top of it. To make it more effection, i make it blur by select the Filter, Blur , Motion Blur. I make it average by the angle of 0. The distance is about 51 pixels.So, finish with the background.!

• STEP 2 = The Festival Symbol of Malay, China and Indian.

For the festival symbol, the images are my drawing sketches. Then i colored it so that it will appear as color images so that it will looking good and nice. After that, i scan it to my computer. Open the file which i save it by name of festival symbol, by using Adobe Photoshop. Then, one by one, i used Magic Eraser Tool for erase the white background paper so that it will leave only the image with the Oval border that i made in Adobe Illustrator, using Ellipse Tool, Stroke of 10. Images of the symbol without white background, i dragging it , arrange into the colored background. Become like three symbol images on the top of it. Then double click on the layer, make a style of Layer Style by clicking the Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Bevel and Emboss.

3 Arranges of Image On The Background

• STEP 3 = Text

Using Text Tool, I made a text of UNITED, one by one. I use Showcard Gothic, 86 Pt, Regular with medium gray color. Then i double click the layer one by one i make some changes of style of Layer Style. I clicking on Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Satin wih opacity 50% and Stroke by 27. Same with others.Arrange it down.

Then for festival text like HARI RAYA, GONG XI FA CHAI and HAPPY DEEPAVALI, same like i mention it in above, using Text Tool, I made it one by one. I used Bauhaus 93, 60 Pt, Regular with low and medium color. Then, double click the layer, give some effect by clicking the Bevel and Emboss and the Stroke of 32.

• STEP 4 = Decoration

I download the many type of decoration pattern brush and i selected this one for my decoration. For me, it look elegent and suit for my poster decoration. It will make my poster stands out more interesting. i Choose the red color as the symbol color of Bunga Raya. I give it Stroke by 1 px. Then, i arrange it and make it from one to three. I select the layer and give some effect for it by double click on it and clicking the Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Bevel and Emboss and the Stroke. This is what its look like:

CONCLUSION

Those is how I make out this poster, Assignment 1 Computer Graphic. By mixing up all the step, the final will appear just like the first photo i upload it on the above below the title of Poster About 1 Malaysia, Festival Poster.!!!! Generously, i glad that i manage to do it but at the same time i hope what have i done is likely by others people and i hope Madam Lydia will like this poster.. Thank You..~

FLASH?

The best description for Adobe Flash is a Multimedia Platform where I can used to add video, animation and Interactivity to web page. Mostly, flash can be used in term of advertisement and games.Flash manipulates vector and raster graphics to provide animation of text, drawings, and still images. Supports bidirectional streaming of audio and video, and it can capture user input via mouse, keyboard, microphone, and camera. Flash contains also is  an object-oriented language called ActionScript. Truly here, I'm not very good of it but i will learn to try the best.!

Click on the file and place the picture

Click on the image and edit the size image for 640x480 px with the resolution 720 pixel

Duplicate the layer. Select the Magnetic Lasso Tool and start using it for the spectacular. Then, click the image, select adjustment for hue/saturation and plays the colour that i want.

Duplicate another layer and start changes the background. Use Magnetic Lasso Tool for the certain part of the background behind me. Then, select the Filter, go for Blur, select Motion Blur and make the adjustment for the bluring with try an error concept until satisfied.

Same as always, duplicate the layer. Using a Marketing Lasso Tool for the hair. Then, select the image on adjustment for hue/saturation. Change the hue, saturation and lightness and the color i choose is green. Copy it and paste it to the third layer. The color will appear on the image.

Lastly, with the same way i do it for the cloth. Select the Filter and Blur for Motion Blur. Try an error with the angle and the distance until i satiesfied. Copy and paste it so it will appear on the image.

Layer Basic

• What is layer in the Photoshop??

Layer is simply one image stacked on top of another. Layer can be created on  how many you want and usually layer is the most important because with the layer, you can keep the original images by only do editing in the second layer or copy of the images.

•  Where it is  located in the Photoshop?

The layer panel is located at the bottom right hand corner in a default Photoshop workspace. The layer also can be visible by press on the Window>Layers to make it appears up the layers panel.

First wallpaper

This is the step how the picture above created :

• First, place the original photo and double click on it, so that we can do any edition into it.

• Duplicate the original layer and the layer will name as Layer 2. Click on Filter, select Blur then the Motion Blur. Adjust the angle become 90 degree and the distance 34 pixels.

• Next, duplicate Layer 2 for another layer ; Layer 3. Use Magnetic Lasso Tool for only a certain part, part of the ghost. Click on Filter and select the Blur for Surface Blur. Adjust the radius 5 or 7 pixels and the treshold about 2 or 5 levels. Then copy paste on the Layer 3. So the bluring of the certain part will be appear on the Layer 2.

• Third, for the text of Hungry Ghost Festival 2010, China, select the Text Tool and search for font Matura MT Script Capitals, Regular and with 18 pt. Then, double click on the text layer, the Layer Style will be appear, click on Drop Shadow with it angle -52 and the distance 15 px, Gradient Overlay with angle 117 degree and Stroke with 2 px.

 

 

 

• Lastly, using a Brush, select a Sample Smoke. Press CtrlT for size it either to be bigger or smaller by controlling Master Diameter.  Then, double click on the layer, the Layer Style will be appear. For right, play with the Satin and the Gradient Overlay. For the left, after make a copy, play with the Inner Shadow, Inner Glow and the Gradient Overlay.

HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL

  

About Hungry Ghost Festival : 

Well, Hungry Ghost Festival is the celebration that had been celebrated by Chinese people beside celebration of the year, Chinese New Year. This celebration was made because Chinese believed that during the seventh month, the Gates of Hell are opened. Ghost are free to wander in search for food.

Why Chinese believe this? :

There are two main reason to answer this question. First, they fear that the revengeful spirit may come back again to take revenge toward them. The spirit may take the revenge for those who had wronged them in theirs lives. Second, they felt the spirit is one of the part who can helping them to own a successful business.

How was the celebration? :

They would first offer food to their ancestors as they believes and hopes that ancestors being the first to be offered food won't be hungry ghost. As ancestors spirit are being taken by the descendants, they are not called hungry ghost. Most Chinese descendants does take care of their ancestors by inaugurating name tablets in their homes or associations.

[ Why i choosing this festival as my theme E-wallpaper? : I choose it because over all the festival that i had reseached, the Hungry Ghost Festival is the one that interest me a lot. It looks something different and seem very interesting for me. I like it. ]  

 

What is Photoshop???

•  Adobe Photoshop is  a graphics editing program that had been used by so many people for their's work in Graphic and Design. Adobe Photoshop is very common and generally popular among us but not all people know how to use it?, espicially me. So, in order to understand this application very well, we must have an effort to make a research, studies and learn for a better understanding.
